Our instructors are dedicated to guiding students on their Taekwon-Do journey, both on and off the mat. With a wealth of experience and a passion for teaching, they create an engaging environment where students can develop their skills, confidence, and discipline. Combining traditional techniques with modern methods, our team aims to empower students, helping them grow both as martial artists and individuals.

Dr Thu Nguyen (VI Dan) - Head Instructor
Dr Nguyen has dedicated nearly 30 years to Taekwon-Do, beginning her training at age 13 in 1996. Her career has been highlighted by international competition, including representing New Zealand in the ITF World Championships in Poland in 2003 and Canada in 2007. Since founding the club in 2005, she has focused on sharing her expertise and passion with the Taekwon-Do community, making a lasting impact as the Head Instructor. Through her leadership and dedication, she has fostered the growth of Taekwon-Do, helping others develop their skills and passion for the martial art.
Mr Ronnie Lee (IV Dan) - Assistant Instructor
Mr Lee commenced his Taekwon-Do journey in Malaysia in 1995 and has since dedicated 30 years to the art. His extensive training and experience, both locally and internationally, have deepened his understanding of Taekwon-Do across diverse cultures and regions. With a passion for instruction and a commitment to sharing his expertise, Mr Lee strives to inspire the next generation, infusing the art with fresh energy and dynamic flair. His key areas of expertise include flexibility, plyometrics, flying techniques, sparring, and multiple kicks, skills he passionately imparts to his students.
Mr Luis Bosch (II Dan) - Instructor
Mr Bosch began practicing Taekwon-Do in Argentina at the age of 15 and quickly developed a love for the art. The values learned, skills developed, and self-discoveries made through Taekwon-Do were instrumental in building confidence and fostering personal growth. Mr Bosch competed in numerous national tournaments and played an active role in the development of Taekwon-Do at his school by teaching classes and supporting others. Dedicated to giving back to the community, Mr Bosch strives to support others as he was supported and to help individuals grow into the best versions of themselves.
Mrs Adele Smith (I Dan) - Instructor
Mrs Smith has been practicing Taekwon-Do for 13 years, beginning at the age of 15. Training alongside talented practitioners and competing in national tournaments has provided her with a wealth of knowledge and resilience, which she is passionate about sharing with both current and new members. Taekwon-Do has served as an outlet throughout her life, from navigating life’s hard struggles during her teenage years to balancing the demands of her nursing career. Beyond teaching discipline and hard work, Taekwon-Do has given her a sense of belonging within a supportive family environment, full of love and respect, making it her home away from home.
Mr Yi Nan Chen (I Dan) - Instructor
Mr Chen is a committed instructor at the club with nearly seven years of experience in Taekwon-Do. The martial art has become a significant part of his life, offering rewarding experiences such as competing in tournaments and building strong connections within the community. As a passionate instructor, Mr Chen is dedicated to helping students progress and achieve their goals, viewing instruction as a two-way street that fosters growth for both the students and the instructor. Earning his black belt stands as one of Mr Chen's proudest achievements, marking the beginning of an ongoing journey.
Mr Adrian Aminian (I Dan) - Instructor
Mr Aminian is a committed instructor with over 10 years of experience in Taekwon-Do. He is passionate about teaching the art, helping students develop long-term skills while fostering strong connections within the community. Mr Aminian is dedicated to supporting students in achieving their goals, whether advancing to the next rank or competing in tournaments. His career highlights include earning 2 gold and 1 bronze medal at the 2023 National Tournament and achieving his black belt with an 'A Pass.' These accomplishments reflect his dedication and passion for continuing his Taekwon-Do journey.
