We offer a fun, specialised programme for kids. Learning the Art of Taekwon-Do will serve to benefit both kids and parents! Kids training in Taekwon-Do will: develop confidence and increase their self-esteem, learn the Tenets of Taekwon-Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit - offering kids skills for life! Watch your child increase their fitness and co-ordination whilst learning self-defence in a fun, safe and supportive environment. 

We utilise the ITKD Mini-Kids syllabus to deliver a fun but concentrated class to our youngest beginning practitioners, encouraging motor-skills and laying the foundation to flow into our more mature learning streams

Junior ranks

Green Belts - Blue Stripes

Tuesdays, Thursdays
Meadowbank School Hall 6.15pm - 7.45pm

This class is designed to empower our junior ranks. These are highly energetic, focused classes with Black Belt mentors delivering support and assisting with goal-setting, training and development throughout the year. These sessions encompass all facets of the Art including: fitness, technique drills, patterns (Tul), self-defence and sparring. We work with our students in multiple formats to embrace all learning styles and capabilities.

Catering to our junior ranks but also bridging the sometimes difficult jump for young practitioners into more senior tuition. Throughout the course we convey strong fundamentals and build on these to see our students competently through to more senior ranks.

Senior ranks

Blue Belts and above

Tuesdays, Thursdays
Meadowbank School Hall   6.15pm - 8:15pm

Senior class is for everyone over 10 years old and holding a Blue Belt or above. In this class we use the art of Taekwon-Do to promote fitness, muscle tone, strength and co-ordination. Taekwon-Do has many principles that apply to all aspects of daily life, and your training will not only hone your body but sharpen your mind. It provides an outlet from the stresses of work and school that encourages mindfulness and awareness of one’s body, while participating in a fun and friendly community environment.  

Here we impart more specific training to those holding higher rank ensuring continued physical and mental development up to and beyond Black Belt. We strive to ensure the skills obtained throughout Taekwon-Do permeate all facets of a practitioners life in a positive way.
