At Tamaki Taekwon-Do we are passionate about the community, and we possess a group of dedicated individuals that truly care about each other. No matter your age, fitness level or ability, we have a place for you, and want you to be a part of our Taekwon-Do family. 

Kids (5-10 years)

We offer a fun, specialised programme for kids. Learning the Art of Taekwon-Do will serve to benefit both kids and parents! Kids training in Taekwon-Do will: develop confidence and increase their self-esteem, learn the Tenets of Taekwon-Do: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit - offering kids skills for life! Watch your child increase their fitness and co-ordination whilst learning self-defence in a fun, safe and supportive environment. 

Youth (10-14 years)

This class is designed to empower our pre-teens.  These are highly energetic, focused classes with each student designated a senior colour-belt or black-belt mentor to support and assist with goal-setting, training and development throughout the year.  Our workshop sessions include: fitness, kicking, perfecting foot and hand techniques, self-defence and sparring. We work with our students in multiple formats to embrace all learning styles and capabilities. This includes “one on one” classes (instructor and student) and small group work activities.

Adults (14+ years)

Adults class is for anyone over 14 years, and in this class we use the art of Taekwon-Do to promote fitness, muscle tone, strength and co-ordination. Taekwon-Do has many principles that apply to all aspects of daily life, and your training will not only hone your body but sharpen your mind. It provides an outlet from the stresses of work and school that encourages mindfulness and awareness of one’s body, while participating in a fun and friendly community environment.
