Club Photo - 2008

Tamaki Taekwon-Do Club was formed late in 2005 and is based in Mt Wellington, under the initial Instructors of Ms Thu Thach and Ms Chanthie Thach. We started with a holiday programme over the December and January period which was followed by the formal opening of the Club in early 2006.

We initially trained at Sylvia Park School then relocated in 2007 to our own full time training gym at the Mt Wellington Rugby Football Club. Later that year, we became an incorporated society.

Our Club has grown so fast over the last few years and with the addition of new seniors, we have become more established.

We regularly take part in gradings, seminars, courses and tournaments which are provided by our national organisation, ITFNZ. In May 2009, we re-branded our Club to Tamaki Mt Wellington Taekwon-Do Academy.
